Today the Reel Naughty made the trip up to Wheatley for some Bullet action and we were not disappointed. Started setting rods at 7:15 and had the first fish on before all 6 were rods set. Ended up going 21 for 28 with two break offs, off the water by noon. Downriggers at 43ft, dipsys on setting 1 back 55 and setting 3 back 105. Both purple and orange were the hot colors again. We were around the 03/18 and 04/17 lines. Same basic location as last week.

Thanks for the info out on the water. Good day of fishing, you guys left at the right time - the winds completely died and the fishing shut off until about 2:00. Ended up 15 for 24 with most coming in the morning. Had another charter group this morning and mustered up 12 for 18 with six eyes in some 3-4 foot rollers. Most fish came on the riggers today. Hope to be back next week.

Along with Reel Naughty, we had an awesome day on Saturday. Fished about 1.5 miles south of last weekends area. We didn't even bother with the riggers as the action was fine with dipsys. Lost track of our numbers but we went 15 or 20 with 25 to 30 hook ups. Along with the steelies we caught 4 'eyes and a bonus 11 lb. coho.

Scott - Nice meeting ya on Saturday. Hope to see ya on the water again. We already have plans on taking Reel Naughty back up north again this coming weekend...

I found out that work may eliminate any chances of fishing this Saturday, but there is always hope for Sunday. I hate having a real job. I will let you know

Has anyone been out this week in or around Wheatley.Last time out we landed a limit of walleye and only three steelies.That was last tue.

Hi Capt Nick,
The Steelhead have moved to East of Erieau.115 deg 10 miles out.Walleyes are also being taken.
May I be fishing somewhere Tomorrow

Make sure you post on what goes on out there i think them bows are on a move and hard to come by.thanks
