Looking to go to Glendo reservoir September 10th..Want to find out if the walleyes are biting...If so where at on the lake and what is a good technique to use this time of year there.

Glendo has been a tough bite this year - most people are catching more carp than anything.

A couple of tips:

Troll cranks with leadcore - keep your baits below the carp schools and you can find the wally's. In Airport and Muddy Bays, keep the cranks just above the weeds - the fish will come up out of the weeds and hammer the cranks.

As the water temp starts to drop, try throwing cranks (husky jerks, smithwick rogues) at the shorelines in areas like the two bays on the inlet side of Red Canyon. Don't get your boat too close or you'll spook them.
