Im sorry I can't help near huron but the dipsey and spoon bite is good at 38-23 thru 38-25. That's about 12-15mi NE of huron. I heard that the afternoon bite has been better then the morning bite. Big dipseys #3 setting 95-105 back has been the hot setup with copper and orange spoons. Good Luck Paul

westwind, the fish were getting nnw of the bar are small eyes. Average 16-20inches.

Limit style fishing just small fish.

Well see if the bigger fish move in before the end of the season. Hopefully this next cold front moving thru now will cool down the water and bring bigger fish.

I think a 2lb average will win the upcoming gander tourney, but I hope I'm wrong.

Good luck Paul aboard Amanda Too

Wow - That's impressive. Was this a night bite? Were you trolling cranks and stick baits?

V-Man , we're heading for Huron late next week. Do you have any #'s we could use ? how far west of Huron where you?

My guess is that he is on the hump just west of the mouth of the river. Its a good spot, try casting harnesses on the high spot, I think its about 15-17ft deep. Nice and rocky.

Now, for him to reply.......................
