Does anyone have a water clarity report. I would like to fish the bay this weeked if the recent wind hasn't made the water too dirty.

Thanks in advance.

A friend and I fished out of Sterling this morning.Ended up with 8 eyes between us with the biggest going 26 inches and the others 17-20 inches.
We fished straight out in front of the rip rap south of the channel.Water was stained with anywhere between 1-4 feet of vis.Best baits were deep Thunderstick jr. 70-80 back.Best depth was 14-16ft of water.

Sounds like you did well. I fished this morning and had my limit by 8:00. I didn't use you pattern nor location. I fished the the North side of the bay, 10-14 FOW using t-stick jrs and husky jerks.

fished this morning out of sterling ,had 8 early in 15 to 19 foot
water, move out deeper not a fish. All but 1 came on little ripper
55 ft back, black silver was the best color for us, with the biggest
coming on a deep husty jerk 50 back.the biggest was 4 to 5 pd range
3 other 3 to 4 pd range. a very good day to be on the water but needed
some wind to make the walleye bite better.
