Saginaw Bay Night Bite only?

I have heard that Saginaw bay is great this time of year. Is this bite a night bite only, or are mornings and midday any good?

We fished there from 9:00AM to 2:00 PM and caught nothing trolling in 8-14', talked to others at the launch- they had the same results. Some nice perch being caught.

i fished last thursday, landed 3 and missed 3. nite bite can be great on the big pond.

Very shallow day bite off Finn Rd will get fired up in the next 10 days. Also 6 to 12' off State Park. Anyday the day and nite bite off Whitestone area on post spawn females will get going. Have caught them as early as April 1. Troll or Jig daytime and troll at night.
