Noticed the last message here was almost a month ago. Surely someone has an updated report on Brest Bay area for us folk thirsty for some fishin news. You type it, I'll read it.

saw reports of 8 fish for 2 guys on a Michigan site for Brest Bay. One 6 pounder - the rest small males. Monday, I think.

I've been out a few times. Nothing better than 4 fish trolling.
There are a lot more fish closer to the Toledo light.

I haven't been in the Breast Bay area yet. Haven't read many good reports from there. As j9f said, there are a lot of fish in the Luna Pier, Toledo Light, Turtle island area. I have not been able to get much of a trolling bite going yet either. Marking tons of fish, but can't get them to go. Done best in the last week chuckin' and draggin' gold erie dearies tipped with a crawler. Can't wait for the trolling bite to heat up.
