Haven't seen many new reports lately heading over this weekend. How is the jig bite and how is the troll. Looking to spend 3 days there will post reports when get back.

Buddy of mine has been out of wild wings 3 wk ends in a row- great bite right out in front of marina. Bite seemed to switch from purple to chartruesse to pink jigs(latest report yesterday).

We fished the 19th through 23rd, did nothing other than troll cranks. North and West of Rattlesnake was good and so was the water between North and Middle bass. Seemed like the fish were moving a lot but most days there were fish there. Keep working the biters when you find them.

Marked a ton of fish by the outer range cans but didn't get many bites over there. Marked a ton of fish by Kelly but didn't get many bites over there.

Still have friends out there, sounds like they're doing better now on crawlers than cranks in the same water we fished (better numbers but smaller sized fish).

The last few days we were there our best baits were bright and shiny. Reef Runners 60-80 back, Deep Down Husky Jerks 100 back.

Our group fished those exact dates as Hondo and my report is exactly the same. Lots of fish marked at the cans, not many takers. Our fish came from Rattlesnake, area between middle and south bass and we did get a few off Kellys, but not many. RR 60-80 and DDHJ 100. All bright shiney colors. We had a tough time getting a tight pattern, You would pick up a few and things would die off, then it would start again hours later. I think one needs to keep on the move looking for active fish. I was hearing a bunch of talk that the crawlers were starting to take off. Good luck

For speeds we tried to stay 1.3 to 1.6 but got slower and faster at times. Also picked up fish on inside turns, outside turns, and straight runs. It didn't seem like it was critical to hold an exact speed, as long as you were in that 1.3 to 1.6 range.
