Kelly's Island Memorial Weekend

What a beautiful weekend and fantastic Erie Walleye fishing to boot!! Fished Sunday and Monday by myself and limited both days. Trolled the area northwest of Kelly's Island near Gull Shoal east and west 32 to 34 fow. Ran small (0) dipsey's set on (1) 40 to 50 ft back and 70 to 80 ft back off in line boards with 20 jets. All caught on purple and black metalic harness w/#5 gold and copper double blades. Sunday limit in about 3 three hours and Monday in about an hour and a half. Couple of the passes over the hot spot yielded doubles so it did not take long on Monday.

Great post LongSpur, your info is always a help, did you get your new boat that you were talking of getting when I was emailing you last year about info on Bula? Sounds like your still catching your share of eyes. Keep it up.

Sadly.. No, Have the same old boat and will for another season. I can't complain though, that little old 16 footer has been good to me over the years. Probably will be tough letting it go someday.
