[Less Stress]

Not much on the board about the Cleveland bite. Anyone fish out of Cleveland lately? Are the eyes still there? Looking to head out sometime this week and looking for current info.

I fished out of E.72nd on Saturday. It was very slow and I only managed three fish. I was checked by ODNR in the lot, and the officer showed me his contact sheets. It was very evident that the fishing had been falling off rapidly the last week. He felt that the majority of the fish had moved well east. I went to Ashtabula on Sunday and hammered them.

There are still plenty of fish in Cleveland. I talked to a buddy Saturday that was heading into the dock at 72nd, just as we were heading out for the nite troll east of vermillion.

He got three tickets in the last hour and a half of daylight in 41 FOW. Nicer fish, as well. Red bladed crawler harnesses took the brunt of the fish. Spoons got just a few. I know he is a Dipsy guy, but I have no idea what program he was running with them.

[Waterbite]

I fished off Edgewater Monday set-up in 57' bout 7 miles due north of the Gold Coast. We started catching fish in about 61'. Ended up with 10 in boat plus lost 4 behind the boat. Seemed like it was a small pocket of fish as we picked a few with each each pass through. Never marked alot of fish in the area. The bait was not as prevelant as it was the previous week so that might explain the absence of fish.
