Saturday i was out on Flathead Lake just playing with electronics. no walleye there - just macs. i have a X-75 on the front, transducer (192) on the autopilot, and a Tournament HR on the back. got both last summer so am still learning. always having fished walleye over a max of maybe 50' i never had a problem. anyway, saturday over deeper water the X-75 would go wacko! it would show depths of 300, 600, 800, 2600! where the Bottomline would show 80 to about 225, which i know to be right. i was neither smart enough to turn the Bottomline off to eliminate possible interference, to see if that made a difference nor did i think to try to find the exact depth where it would cease to function. is it just an interference problem when i get deep enough for the cones to intersect or is there an adjustment that takes care of this that i couldn't find? thanks a bunch for help.

I dont know what the problem with your x75 is but I have a eagle magnaview that does the same thing. mine goes bonker in 8 feet so I dont think its cone intersection. My transducers are 20 feet apart. My problem seems to happen after a long day of trolling and my batteries are getting drained. I have mine wired into the bow lights. Call Lowrance. They are one of my sponsors and their tech staff will be glad to help you figure it out
