Has there been any action in the lower Detroit river lately? I broke my leg a few months ago, and haven't been able to get out. Want to get a few more keepers in the freezer for "hibernation".

The jig bite is still on with rubber worm or crawler in the Trenton channel in front of Erie Metro Park ramp, 13ftow. The perch bite has picked up in the last few days. Try the three intake bouys out from Erie Metro Marina or around the cross dike area, and Sugar Island 6-12ftow. Some larger perch are coming in now.
