Has anyone been out for walleye lately? It looks decent for Sunday and I'm looking for a place to start. Thanks for any input.

Real spotty walleye fishing right now. Pick any spot and cross your fingers. Perch fishing is excellent that way though. Another 10 degrees down in water temp and the eyes will be fired up!

there are a fair amount of eyes roaming brest bay, but with the recent winds and rain the water is muddied up and the bite has slowed in the last week. with more of the same plus a weekly cold front i don't expect the bite to get better for another week to 10 days. i was out yesterday with 2 of my brothers and all we managed were 4, in 6 hours of strong fishing. i did that good or better by myself a week ago.
when we lose the 2nd. amendment the others will be history too!

I got out with a buddy of mine yesterday. Did a little scouting around from Luna Pier to Fermi. We ended up trollong in the bay. Marks seemed best in 17-18 feet. Like Jake said, the water was on the muddy side. We managed 2 fish in 2.5 hours. We found some cleaner water out deeper but the marks just weren't there. It was a beautiful day on the water though. Didn't sound like the perch guys were doing very well either.
