filled my tag this aftermoon. 1 at mclouth near the big tank on a #9 clown, the other 4 came in front of the bay south of edison. 2 more on the clown and the other 2 on rainbow trout. all fish handlining, nothing on the long line.
when we lose the 2nd. amendment the others will be history too!

Fished the same areas late this afternoon. Nothing near Edison lately. Didn't see any nets either. Went by McLouth and filled a two man limit pretty quickly and culled after that. McLouth has been a great spot lately. One near 9#.

The steel plant between the two Grosse Ile bridges.
zig zag the area between the #15 and 17 green cans. it's been a little slow for me there this fall, but i usually pick up 1 or 2 towards my limit. there are a lot of current breaks in the area. i usually run my leads a little higher than normal. the last time out i didn't get a fish between the discharge and the bay. i try to work the area in 8-10 fow to pick off the fish that are cruising in and out of the warm water that draws the shad. most of my fish near edison have been in front of the bay. non't neglect the hole in front of calf island either. there are huge swarms af shad in the river right now.
