Went jigging on the Detroit River with my Brother-in-law today. He's been off all week and has been limiting out each time he's went out. We started out in front of Humbug Marina and drifted south with his bow mount electric motor keeping us vertical. We had a great day using 1/2 oz Northland glow jigs with glow 4" tails in 14ft of water. Had 9 nice walleyes in just under two hours and proceeded to catch and release for a few hours more. Kept our 10th fish after releasing 10 others. All fish were 19 to 21 inches. Real fat too. Not like the fishing last weekend in Huron but I really like to jig so all in all a great day. Its been a great Fall with decent weather the last couple of weeks, but its turning sour this coming weekend. Time to put the boat away for this year. Come on Spring. Good luck to all. Tom O
