WOW...had an awesome week at Huron. Able to fish 5 straight days..so very unusual this time of year. We didnt catch them as fast as others but still did well. Mostly nice 3 to 6 pound fish with one 10 lb and one 9 pounder and two steelheads as a bonus. Leads varied on the day but most fish were up high. Ripsticks back 85 to a 100 and reefrunners back 30 to 85. We didnt really run anything else.

I wanted to thank Dean for coming along with me and being my "eyes" in the fog on wednesday as well as letting me clean the fish at his place.

Also wanted to thank Steve for joining me on Tuesday and showing me several tricks with the boards. Sorry about "releasing" those last two fish, Steve! ;)

A big thanks to Rick for calling me with a hot location on Thursday. Got our last 8 fish in about an hour !

Thanks to Tim for the info he shared as well as all the other WC regulars.

Hopefully the weather gods will cooperate and allow us a few more nice days out there!

Sure, rub it in you @#%^$&*#&$!!!!!!! j/k ;)

Awesome fish ! I wish I could have made it down one more time but work, as always, got in the way .

So as I sit here in my house watching the snow come down, I'll be thinking about you guys still fishing down there :boohoo: .

I hope the weather holds out and you get to go again, best of luck !!

I want to thank you Mike for all the info you gave this summer. This was my first year out in Erie and it was real fun. I was able to get out on Monday and and did pretty good. I'm glad I drove down to Huron and will be back next year as well. Thanks again to all who are willing to teach.

Hey Mike,
THANK YOU for the chance to fish with you on Tuesday. Had a great time. Great picture here of the big one that didn't get away:

Before someone asks about the lure this is a Reef Runner that was custom painted very similar to the Silver Streak "Pink Panties" spoon pattern.

Thanks again.
