FISHCRAZY
12-22-2006, 03:57 AM
Went out Thursday, 12/21/06. Caught fish, but according to "BIG BROTHER", I cannot tell you where, and especially what I've used, or my post will be deleted, just like the R*****y post. If that's the case then every single one of you that ever mentioned a lure you've used to catch a fish on, are in contempt, yet I do not see any other post taken off for it. Morally and legally that is a big NO! I've read the rules, first post on this page, and I understand them well.

When my posts created some publicity I purchased advertizing on this site, out of my own morality, not because anyone told me I had too. Regardless, I was surprised that I was not able to sign my post with FishCrazy Charters after that, according to what I read in the rules, I should be able to.

I chose this way of getting this across because, even though I was made aware that my post was taken off while I still out fishing tonight, by a friend, I expected an E-mail about it when I got home. Before, every time an issue like this arose, I was contacted via e-mail, not this time!

The fishing is still going on. All of you that are running to daddy, complaining about my post, are starting a month too late in the spring, and quitting a month too early in the fall, to say the least, if you’d even do it at all, most of you who read this post can disregard this paragraph.

FACT: Before the spring of 2002 there were hardly any boats fishing the night bite in the Cleveland area in the spring. Before the fall of 2004, there were hardly any boats fishing the night bite in the Cleveland area in the fall. I started fishing in the spring of 2001 because that spring was so good, you’d get your 8 fish limit within 15 casts off the rocks, but it got so crowded that you wouldn’t have any more room to fish, so I started going out with my 1980, 19' Galaxy, and it all went from there. Throughout the spring of 2001 the only boat that was keeping me company every night I was fishing in front of the Gold Coast was The Cleveland Marine Towing. They were chattering (oops) with me on their way from Edgewater to Rocky River. Now if anyone of you will ever use them for a tow, it might make this post illegal.

In the fall of 2001, I only fished until mid November, when my Galaxy (the boat is out of production, so it should be legal to mention it by name), blew its gears in the middle of the Cuyahoga River. If you think paddling a boat with fishing nets is not possible, I got news for you. When the railroad bridge lifted and that freighter made its way out the river, I had two boys on the boat that got that boat on plane using the fishing nets, that by the time the freighter made it out of the river, we were costing towards E 72nd, trying to figure out how to stop the ****ed thing.

Spring of 2002, after some people saw the fish I brought in, one night in May, some boats started coming out. Then more and more boats showed up. By the fall of 2002, my Galaxy was dead again and I could never get anyone to take the boat out for the fall. Spring of 2003 more boats showed up. By fall of 2003 my Galaxy was dead again, and again, I could not get anyone to go in the fall because no one believed me that the fish are there in the fall also.

Spring of 2004, I got me my new boat, some people complained about me posting. Fall of 2004, after everyone I asked to go fishing in the fall before put their boats away, I went fishing on my own with my new, working boat. In November 2004 Verizon (I’m not sure if I can mention their name) gave me a phone with a camera, and on November 10th 2004 I took picture of me and friends getting our limits, and posted them. Then posted throughout the fall of 2004.

Spring of 2005 I got my captains licence and started taking people night fishing for a fee (I’m paying to advertise on this site, so I should be able to say this). I also met my friend Scott. Fall of 2005, we got fish for one week at the end of October. It took Scott and I, fishing almost nightly, until first part of December, with maybe 20 fish to show for it, to quit. I didn’t post, because there was nothing to post. I’m sure all the cry babies were glad to know the fishing status, so they didn’t have to “waste” their time being out there for nothing.

Spring of 2006 was good. I started fishing when I usually do, then posted (with pics.), people started showing up. Then it went dead at Edgewater. I went to E. 72nd and got them there, I posted, boats started coming there. More people complained about me posting and went crying to daddy, oh well.

Fall of 2006, started catching fish, posted, posted pics., people started coming. Little girls kept complaining to daddy and I had to put up with it. I am still fishing every night and catching fish. I relating the info. And some boats are still out there now. Before, there were no boats fishing in December. 2004 I fished December by myself. Little girls are still complaining. My post gets taken off the page because I mention one lure I catch them on, and because I answer to someone where he can look it up and where he can get it from.

I lived half my life with “BIG BROTHER” wrapped around my balls, and many little #### turning me in and complaining to “BIG BROTHER” for what I thought, believed and said. I have too much respect for Liberty, and the American way, its what I’ve earned, so I will fight you for it. My post does not say or do anything different then any other post in here, so put the ****ed thing back. You should have more respect for your own rules then those who come crying to you about it. So now you deal with it, are you gonna live by your own rules?

Have a nice day!

I wish I was smart enough to know how to create a similar web address. I am sure with the solid reports we get from yourself, FreeByrd, Gary Zart , EZ MArc , KGone, Brian Thomas, myself and others, we could make it a resounding success. It would be frequently visited, we would have control, and as a bonus probably make all of our boat payments. Anyone interested? I could put up a few bucks - just don't have the computer intelligence needed to design it. Email me - bzumack@feeneymcintyre.com

First off, I don't know who deleted your post.

Second, I just checked the "directory", and I noticed that the entire directory has changed, so the loss of your phone number there might be due to the change over. I noticed that none of the "bronze" ads have phone numbers, but from what I can tell it should, according to the "directory advertising prices" list. You will need to email Scott about that, so that he can get that corrected for you.

AMEN Virgil, I don't have the time or patience for this around the holiday's I got better things to worry about this time of year.

Everyone should get off your back, you do nothing but help people and it seems like it's not appreciated one bit by some, actually it's the guys who have it all figured out, well guess what ladies not everyone does have it figured out so let people help people who need or want it.

This is a fishing report forum if you don't want to know who is saying what about where do not come to this site and read the reports, if your so good and don't need the help why are you even looking around???? Leave what you don't know can't hurt you. Go catch fish and go home, call it a day.

Thanks Gary I appreciate the fact you recognize us as being helful more than we can say for the rest of the fun bunch. I'll trade reports with you any time, next season if you want to come out just drive out you can jump on my boat anytime you want, leave the gear and boat at home and just fish with me, if you like it come back with your rig.

Happy Holidays to all, thank your lucky stars we have awesome walleye fishing right here in Cleveland and we aren't the guys who have to drive from Chicago or Indy to get hog walleye. We should consider ourselves lucky and your going to compain about other saying I caught 15 walleye on Renosky's. Get a life.

Hey Virgil, I've had posts disappear as well and the initial reaction was always "What the #$#$". You'll get over it and it had a good run before it was dusted. I too am a big fan of renosky lures and was interested in the prototype you were running. I was aso interested in the Reef Runner Prototype that was and is still on the Stritly fishing board. Can't wait to get my hands on both of them.

I see posts on other lures all the time but your's probably crossed the fine line between OK and not OK. Don't go away, I too enjoy your posts.

I know Marc tell me about it, I want 4 of every flavor they wil have. I will be putting some calls in to get my hands on the first ones delivered. I can't wait I will hopfully be giving them a whirl in the rivers for steelies. Soon enough.

Virgil.
I enjoy your posts as well, so keep 'em coming please!

Perhaps one of the mods will explain the reasoning for your post being deleted. I don't remember the exact details of your post but I see references to other brands of lures and where to purchase them all the time so not sure what the big deal is.

keep up the good work.

Winter should go by quick, it's almost January already and fish are still to be had. I can't wait to complain about how rough or hot it is out there, sitting on shore stinks.

My foot is getting better, another week I will be chasing chrome in the nearest river, in the meantime Gander,Rodmakers, and Dave's Bait for some stock up.

The name Slayer started out as a joke with my buddies here in Jackson, MI, that fish with me in the Maumee in the spring. This was my first year trying my luck in the big lake with a project boat. A 1962 Durcraft. Thanks to guys like you and Rebel, I have some great pictures and memories of fishing from Sterling down to Huron, not to mention some gooooood eating! In fact, I thought I was done for the year, but I am going to try one more trip down to Huron after Christmas. Thanks for all the info Virgil and maybe next year I will head all the way over to Cleveland.
Merry Christmas
Rick

Dude you are taking internet fishing sites way too seriously. Who cares.. quit posting then. Go fishing and see if it's still enjoyable without posting on the web afterwards. I bet it is.
Getting all worked up over a little forum is pretty darn silly in my opinion.

While i think Peanuts is missing the point, the fishing is not as easy as it seems. Checking the 5 day lake forecast and the ten day weather prognostication, I would venture to say we are done. Not to say you cant get out in January, but I have found that in 33 degree water trolling is pretty darn tough, add that to some muddy water and you are done.
