Fishing during an East wind is never any fun but when you get a chance to go you head out. We started out on Friday looking for clean water. We headed out North and East of the "B" can. We found plenty of fish down deep but nothing active or shallow. We tried RR's and Rip stics from the complete rainbow both short and long lines but no takers. We decided to hit the reefs. We hit the parking lot but no one was home. We headed farther in and found a pac of boat on what I think was Cone reef. Only saw a few fish caught for the amount of boats. It looks like we hit things about 2 weeks early. We got blown off on Saturday and decided to hit the Detroit river on Sunday. Things were not going for us there either. We did catch small males but not at all like an active spawn period. The wind started blowing out of the South strong enough to almost stop the current and blow the water back up the river.
