I think you can. Call the MNR in Fort Francis ONT 1-807-274-5337. If not, getting a lic. is a painless process. Just show a drivers lic and the bait shop or resort takes care of the rest.. TGG

PS: Please post what you find out.

Chad,

If you have a fax machine I can send you the Application for a Non-resident sport fishing licence for Ontario. You can then either mail it or fax it to them. Good Fishing.

Is a "Canada fishing license" similar to a "United States fishing license"?

Since some years I'll acquire six or seven states plus Ontario, I would like to see a one-license option. But, who would administer such a program? How many ways can the pie be cut?

cisco.....If you can figure that one out get them to get one super credit card as well. Lightens up the wallet a lot instead of carrying 10 or twelve cards that all do the same thing pretty much.

I get my Ontario license over the phone every year by calling Walt's Dry Goods in Atikokan, Ontario (807) 597-4433. They charge your credit card and send you the license in the mail.

The web site with the download is www.discoveroutdoors.com. We decided to get it on there to make purchasing a Canadian License a little easier. Ministry gave us permission, was hoping everyone will use it to save them manpower since they have to mail the apps out when requested. Also prices have changed so old forms won't work with a check. Hope it is helpful. Mark Sak
