I need some good ideas on how to get painted numbers off my fiberglass boat without harming the gellcoat. Has anyone done this? Appreciate the help - cbeauchamp2@home.com

Oven cleaner works very well. Test anything you use on the bottom to check but I have used this several times with no problem. Don't do it in the sun, and take it your time.
