Just want to let everyone know, walleyes are hitting strong on the east shore of Lake Winnebago. I dont want to give out any secrets, but its very close to Fishermans Road.....Thats all I can say. I've caught 15 20"+ in the past three days! Unbelievable! Not even white bass, sheapshead, etc....
Good Luck!
Good for you, but that's a pretty weak "report". How about at least giving them some tips on what presentations worked for you? What depths? Etc...

Well that was nice Kuhn. Why even bother to post. The fish are on the reefs and the trolling bite has been slow from what I've heard but that will change as the water warms up.Find some rock near shore and keep moving until you find some fish using jigs and leeches and crawlers. The reefs off shore are producing fish also. But the shoreline fish should be easier to find early and late. The east side docks are getting hit real hard from the shoreline owners using slip bobbers.Poygan is the place to be if you like to troll.Later and good luck.headin out now.

Funny how you've posted repeated requests and have received information from others but when asked to elaboarte you basically say, "Shove off." Noted.

Perhaps I can help more than kuhndog is willing to. I'm on the West shore and the walleyes are finally coming shallow enough for catching them off my pier - about 3 feet of water or less on a large rocky flat. I know there are better shorelines than mine, so please don't anchor in front of my pier... :) Just look for rocky bottom that drops to deeper water.
1/16 oz. jigs tipped with leeches are working the best (crawlers tend to invite sheeps & bullheads). Slow retrieve dragging the jig on the bottom is the ticket. Bonus smallies are nice sized also.

I'm heading to cass lake next week.
We will be staying near the old "Toms" resort. Anybody have any ideas that they can pass on, to get us started? ( mrcar49424@yahoo.com )

I think you may have confused Winnebago (in NE Wisconsin) with Winnibigoshish (near Cass Lake)? The reefs are smokin' on Winnebago but I can't help you with Winnibigoshish.
