I have not been on the water since last Fri. eve. out of Cranberry toward Sherod Prk. I know the weather has been off and on but is the bite still going in that area after dark? Where during the day? What about the fish that were in the 28' slightly west of the breakwall for the day-night bite, have they moved toward Lorain? I hope to fish Sat. weather permitting. Thanks in advance.

We've been taking many fish in the 28-14 area (about 36 FOW),which is about a mile west of the Lorain light house, and north to 46 FOW.

Spoons and cranks have been working well. For once, we've been having better success on silver backed spoons. 1.8-2 mph in the mornings, and 2.7-3 mph in the afternoons.

These fish have moved and been replaced by others. It's still hot as a firecracker right off vermillion wall to ruggles and beaver the other way. No prob with limits.

How was it today before the storms. I wonder if the front that passed thru will affect the bite for Sat.?

Took a three man ticket, plus a bonus 10# Steelhead in 39 FOW straight north of Cranberry today. Ole Pete's spoons and medium Dipsys worked well.
