Will be up to LOW next weekend fishing out of Wigwam resort near the inlet of Rainy. What's up? Any suggestions on presentations and how the fishing has been? Only fishing Saturday and Sunday so hoping to make the best of times on the water.
Thanks

Lots of info here on MN lakes. Bring an anchor at sit in about 30ft. fishing has never been better on Lake of the Woods. Jig/shiner work well also lindy rigs

Whew! So glad to hear that there is plenty of MN lake info! Could you please direct me to it? I am having trouble finding it. I tried doing a search and I found plenty of information posted in the late nineties but saw nothing current.
Thanks!
Harry.
p.s. Thanks also for the LOTW information. I will be headed up there with my anchor in search of 30' of water tomorrow.

Just got back. Fished with jigs, anchored boat, 25 ft water on a cloudy day, 25 to 35 ft on a clear day. You'll see the other boats, if the fish are still there. Did great Wednesday, three 30 inchers in our boat, plus lots of eaters. Went out of Ballard's. We also did some drifting in 10 ft, did catch some fish but did not stick with it for long because we were getting them on jigs.
Saw a picture that made me sick on the way up. Two guys had caught 12 pounders in early June and brought them back to the dock to get pictures. Whatever for?
