ANY REPORTS ON WALEYE FISHING FROM THE PICKSTOWN AREA? THINKING ABOUT TRYING THIS COMING WEEK. THANKS

It all depends how you like to fish!!! If you want to bait I would use nightcrawlers in 10-20 ft hook-beed on lindy or bottom bouncers. Fish the point around the mouth out of Svatos bay if you have the opportunity to pull lead core head out to 30-36ft about a 1/2 mile north out of svatos east side and thro on firecraw jointed shad rap and get ready for some real nice fish 18-25 inchers. If the weather heats up you might find them shallower. The intakes hold some great fish if the water temp is right. Jig and a minnow or cranks 30-50ft down right before dark. Good Luck
