Marc,
Hey I just wanted to say thanks for doing the "hunting" out there.Sorry the results haven't been better....
It could be a tough steelie tourney if we don't find them soon!..........Len

Don't know if this helps, but we fished between Conneaut and 'Bula last night in 39 to 50 fow trying our marks from Tuesday for 'eyes. We ran the same "high" sets we had caught them on Tuesday to start and in the first hour and a half hooked 2 steelies. Both high sets were in the top 15 fow. The NE winds blew some colder H2O in and apparently a few steelies with it. Have yet to try it on Erie, but when the fish are in the top 20 fow of water or so a 6" orange baby Spin Doctor with a blue/copper cheddar fly can be wicked on steelies. We did EXTREMELY well on that rig on Ontario earlier this spring on steelies and coho.
