We went out of Walnut last night. Tried out in the first trench and only marked a few with no takers. We moved into 41 FOW and got good marks in a 50 yd long stretch 2 miles west of the launch. We took four passes through and picked up the only three of the night. On our fourth pass they were gone and nowhere to be found.

We were up this past week and had to head home Saturday. We fished out of Northeast and East Ave launches. East Ave has fish out near the dump 50-55 ft. Calm trip out most of the way with west winds. North East had better numbers again in the 50's Pulled our limits Saturday before wind picked up out of the west and made things lumpy. Mostly eater size fish. All came pulling meat. Wonder Bread, Blueberry Muffin and purple/chartruse/copper were the hot colors. These fish seemed to be drifting out about 2 ft each day. A bit further east than what you were looking for, but doesn't take long on I-90. Reports are that bigger fish were coming off the other side of the moountian but had enough action in close and never checked it out.
