Fished the lower part of the reservoir out of Pease Creek 7/12 and 7/13. We did well on live bait, colored hooks, night crawlers and BB. Wouldn't look at a leach, didn't try minnows. Keep it slow and work the points in 21-31 FOW where there is access to deep water. Crankbaits didn't do anything except for the specialist guys that are pulling cranks and spinners over the tree tops using down riggers in deep water. Water temp is 75 degrees so either fill your livewell with ice or run the livewell on continuous-manual. Lot of small fish that will inhale the crawler so you will have to cut off the line/hook often to keep from killing them when you release. Avoid Pease Creek on Sat.-Sun. as there are big numbers of campers rec boating with limited parking and one ramp. Going to be very hot temps all of next week per forecast.

I was at Pease Creek on Fri-Sun. Same report here. Did get a 3 and 5 pulling a Wally Diver(firetiger). Fished Scalp Creek mainly. Heard bite was better west of Pease.
