Thats is extremley funny, no you didnt!!! But your right. Everyone will promote thereselves.
Heres one fromm a Chicago Guy. Try Hawgn charters out of catawba. I have my own 24 center sonsole and I still use these guys. There just plain fun to fish with. They also work very hard and will burn whatever gas it takes to get to the active big schools of fish.
I have nothing to gain but maybe a free beer from them at the Rosemont O'Hare fishing expo. But they put together a nice package. they even have nice condos if you need lodging

Were all assuming you want to Walleye Fish ?
Good judgment comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.
Even if the only thing I learn from you is what not to do, I still learned something.

90% of WC posters are charter captains? Had a brain scan lately?
I've been here long enough to know there are ALOT of reputable people on WC that will give you the correct answer whether its fixing your boat, fixing your plumbing, getting your pet healthy or finding a charter. You got to sort thru and find the right answer.
Keith...
not sure how big a boat you are after or how big your party is but Capt Marc Hudson (EZMARC a WC reg)fishes out of a tournament sized boat for smaller parties and will trailer to the best bite. If you look at the classifieds or the profiles page you can find him here easilly.
Come fish with me!

Just another reason this site should be a REGISTERED USER site.
Anonymous users like you spoil this site for everyone.
PS: I'm a tournament angler, not a charter boat Capt.
jerry abele with headhunter fishing adventures out of port clinton is fantastic.if you tell him you want to look for big fish that's what he will do.you will usually get less fish, but better quality.also, over at wild wings is k-lynn charters.chris does a great job and doesn't follow the packs.likes to fish without a bunch of other boats around

There are a lot of great capt around Port Clinton. Over the past ten years I have fished with at least 15 different charters. I have fished with Bill at Copa-Cabana Charters the Most probably 15 times with him. He is good and accomadating. Holiday Village is also one of my favorites. It would be easier to tell you the ones to stay away from. Have only met one.... Good Luck.

September will probably be best in the Lorain area and Den at sportsmans Outpost can give you a good list from that area 888-855-9032.
I only take 2 people and the occassional 3 person near shore trips but know a lot of 6 packs if you want some help.

You come to lake erie to do what- CATCH BIG FISH - At that time of year you should launch from Clev. or farther east like Fairport. Sure you'll get numbers west but most of the BIG girls are just coming through Cleveland east for 40 miles. I think there was a popular story about a guide who kills'em at night right off the breakwall in Clev. Try searching for him?

Yeah, I agree, you'll have a better chance at big fish east of Cleveland in early Sept and even late Sept. and Oct. Those big girls hurry over there in the spring and then eat there way slowly back in the fall.
He asked about Port Clinton to Cleveland though. You'll see a ton of Cleveland boats fishing the bar in Sept. as that daytime bite slows down east of there.
