wheatley monday 8/6

[Boatnut]

fished about 4 or 5 miles south of wheatley harbor and few miles east of pelee point in 50' water. fishing was generally slow for everyone out there. we ended up with 7 steelies and 9 walleyes. 80 back on #1 dipsey and 125-150 back on #3. riggers down 38 to 45' took a few.
I think we lost about 18 steelhead. was very frustrating. few weeks before we hardly lost any. oh well...that's fishin'!!

Boatnut, did you trailer over or go by water? Also, don't you sometimes fish with Idlewake? I saw him on the water on Sunday, but don't know how he did.

yes , I fish with Idlewake sometimes. He was out Sunday and they got 20. he was out today along side me, but we both struggled. We ran over by water. nice day for it.
