It's about time. Kept 25 Saturday. Fished from 0900 to 1345. Caught lots of small perch. Started catching some hogs but about 1245. Had to depart due to the wind and snow. We were the only ###holes out. Fished the north wall of the port.
good report busguy. you almost had me wishing that i was out there with you guys, until i thought about the weather. i have been chased off the lake before. the good thing is you can always watch the smoke stacks for wind direction.....pepe

Great report and I have been itching to get out also. This weekend it is supposed to be in the low 30's so maybe. Good, reliable report given to us by someone other than a vet!
what ever happened to vetspet? i haven't seen any fishing reports from him lately. maybe he has given up fishing. i thnk he goes to florida about this time of year....pepe!

Pepe, I think Vetspet has become a world famous columnist for our local newspaper and is very busy counting his dough from his new profession. I can see his point in backing off on his fishing. You know, you can only get skunked so many times before you have to wonder what the heck you are doing!
footdoc1, i think he is ignoring us. he's been responding to threads on the general discussion postings. maybe he gave up fishing alltogther....pepe

Pepe, that is a smart move on his part - at times he is smarter than he looks! you know he is now a big star with his own newspaper column.

Vetspet is alive and well. By what I saw on the dance floor last night I think he's been practicing his dance steps instead of fishing. I became exhausted just watching him. Look for him on the next "Dancing With The Stars" series.
footdoc, i didn't know he had a news paper column what paper is he in?..hey busguy, dont forget if he goes on dancing with the stars, he will need his fans to vote for him. he seems to be ignoring us...pepe

I can only afford the Times and I am certain vetspet will not end up on dancing with the stars as all of those people are good looking! That alone will disqualify the vetspet!

ok, that does it,i hate to brag, but i can outfish, out dance and out talk all you guys....i didnt even know this column existed but was bored and clicked on it....my new proclam is ready to go fishin....i may head to slough soon, was hopin to hit coldwater michigan on new years but they wont let me off monday...so i''m not sure what/where i want to go and terrorize the fish...steve

I live about 30 min North of Coldwater. They should have some good ice, I am hearing good ice and catch reports in the Jackson area.

Do you ever fish Coldwater Lake for walley in summer? I thought about camping at Pokagon and fishing there.

i could blame it on the drinking but i'm a teetotaler so i'm gonna blame the band for being so loud....that was a fun nite huh?...that was my youngest daughter dancing with me...steve

hey vetspet, well we finally got you out of hiding. its about time. i've got to tell you that calling busguy, bassguy is a good one, normally those are fighting words. we have a friend that fished with us for years and he was a big bass fan. bass, excuse me, i mean busguy and the rest of our gang are all walleye fishermen. i bet he changes his name now. busguy has just had a bad accident....pepe
