i went to long and roger's park and nobody was on the ice...no footsteps seen but when i went to country bait they said some guys went on loomis last nite and did very well on crappie...steve

Back bay of Loomis is hot by the old boat rental. I think you weigh more than me so I need you to try it first. Eric fished Shorewood the last two nights with a nice mix of king kong gills and decent crappies over the 20' hole. I have not yet got my gear together due to overload in the office with everyone's deductibles met for 2007. Hope to get started sometime between Christmas and New Year! I also hear the Willow Slough is good ice at this time.
