We are leaving tomorrow for three days of fishing with Schusters Resort. I was wondering is anyone has been fishing the same area and how was the fishing? What is the best lure to use this year, last year it seemed to be a gold jig. I would appreciate any information.

A coworker of mine went up there last weekend with 3 others and they caught 80 walleyes/saugers and a few jumbo perch. He said they used a minnow under a bobber. Color didn't matter for them. He said he was out about a 1/4 mile past the main pack out from wheelers point. He said everyone was catching fish but they did better going on the outside/deeper side from the pack of resort/guide houses.
