I'd like to thank everyone who provided feedback to my many questions. After much searching and considering my needs, I picked up a used Warrior V166SC Falcon(paid cash :-) ). I mostly stick to my home water which is an inland river and lake system. Some stats:

'95 16'6" X 83" beam (approx 850 lbs)
'96 115 hp EFI & 9.9 Suzuki's (19" SS prop w/ spare alum props)
30 usg bow and 16 usg stern(doubles as cooler?) insulated livewells (more than Lund 2025 Magnum I believe)
2 rod lockers & 2 shelves - one takes up to 9'ers!
20usg infloor gas tank & infloor locking 24v TM batt compartment
3 gas adjustable seats w/ adjustable butt seat in bow
Large locking dry storage compartment in bow & smaller stern
Stereo,compass,rod holders, 2 covers, etc.
Tows nice and fits easily in the garage :-)

The hull and motors are in great shape and look new. There are a couple touch up items I want to get done to really finish it off. I also need to upgrade the electronics and bowmount(I do have an X-85 from my last boat I plan to put on the bow).

I'm leaning towards a 24V 65PD for the bow and maybe an X-15 or another X-85 on the console w/ seperate GPS. Any advantage to GPS and fishfinder all in one unit? How about Maxxum for the TM? Any advantages over the 65PD?

Thanks again for all the feedback. It's kind of sad that the search is over :-(. Oh well, let the next round of spending begin!!

Nice to hear the process is done. Sounds like a real nice boat. Now that you are an informed consumer, how about a nice what to look for article?

:-) Jesse, you're right - this experience has been quite an education :-). The WC board once again proved extremely valuable as a source of good information. My thanks to all who contribute.

I would get the gps and graph seperate because if you only have one unit on the console and your gps takes a crap and you have to send it back, then you have no gps or graph. As far as trolling motors, I would strongly suggest that you get the maxxum, I had an autopilot on my old boat and got a maxxum on my new boat last year and I like the maxxum a lot better. Way to go on the boat and hope you have fun with it!!

May I also offer a hearty congratulations, Steve. With that 115 on the boat, sounds like the rig should fly along pretty good.
Nice ride of a glass boat, good towability, fits in the garage, whew, what else could you want. Where did you find a Warrior around these parts? Don't see many of them in this neck of the woods. Best of luck with your boat!

There are a number of Warriors for sale in this area. They are concentrated around Milwaukee or SW of Chicago on down to the IL River. I plan to put a post up after a few months of operating the boat with some feedback on the V166SC. It sure seems like they've managed to pack a lot into a small boat that still feels spacious.

Thanks to all for the good wishes! Ice be gone!!
