Are the walleye's biting or is it too early? Has the water started to muddy from all the melt?
The walleyes are always biting.
You just have to find them.
It doesn't matter if the water is muddy or not. Someday, somewhere, there will be a fish ready to eat.
The best time to go fishing, is when you have time.
If you happen to catch fish - it is a bonus. A great day on the water, beats a day at work every time.
