Got back today from an Erieau fishing trip on Friday and went 19 for 21 and came home with 6 (released the rest). We went straight out from the marina about 7 miles and trolled west and started to pick them off at about the 9-12 mile range in 40 ft of water in front of the cliffs. Pruple was the color to start off with and then everything went to orange. Two colors of lead off the boards was the most productive, followed by the outside dipsy's and then the riggers. Inside dipsy's didn't get a hit all day. Running in 40-50 ft of water we pretty much had the entire column covered from about 35 ft and up so there isn't much of a dipsy or rigger setting to talk about. But they were in pretty tight and it was pretty steady all day. No eye's though!!!
Looking to head out of Lorain tomorrow morning. Any info???????

Went out of lorain Sat. trolled the 41-43 to the 7-11 lines. Only had 2 hookups which both came within the first 30 minutes of fishing. Tried about everything depths, speed, colors, and even some flashers couldnt get anymore takers, though the walleye did keep us from getting too bored.Dont know if the fish just aint there yet or they been there and already moved out, which i wouldnt think but who knows.Just a strange day at a area that always produces for us every year at this time, just wasnt are day. Will be back too take another shot at them soon hopefully. Only seen 1 other boat there were around 41-13.
