Many years back a couple of my friends had battery powered fillet knives. Today I don't see any company out there that offers such a knife. With the advance in battery powered tools, I can't see why there isn't one on the market (at least to my knowledge.) I would think that any company that would offer such a knife would be able to make a killing. Is there something I'm missing or am I the only one that would put a battery powered fillet knife on his Xmas list????

renegade,
I haven't seen the battery powered knives, but have used the rechargeable knives. I strictly use 12 volt filet knives for all my fish cleaning. They work great for walleyes & perch. I have tried all brands, and the american angler is my choice. I just got the new (green) colored one, works great. I carry a battery pack with me at all times, just plug in & go to work!
take care,

Brad

I've got to hit the water while there's still daylight, but could you let me know where I can purchase a rechargable knife?? Thanks
