Lure maintenance...

I just opened one of the tackle boxes that I don't use frequently. I must have had some water intrusion, as I have a lot of rusted hooks and dirty bodies. Is there anything that will clean the trebles, or should I replace them with new trebles? If new trebles, what brand? Can I put the lure bodies in the dishwasher for a short time without detergent? They are primarily raps, rattlin' raps, shad raps, and wally divers as well as a few spinners.

Toss the trebles. I like some of the premium trebles as replacements, such as Gamakatsus, but they are pricey if you need a lot.

I never put my lures in the dishwater, so I don't know if it would work. WD-40 works o.k to rub out rust stains, but maybe someone else has a better trick.
