got back sun. nite from the narrows, approx. 4" of snow and ice looks good. i see they're still using puddle jumpers, with this cold spell i believe the ice will be perfect for atv's. i did'nt even bring my gear as it was a short family trip. the bait shops in the narrows were closed! going up on 1/6 will stop at nestor falls for minnows and liscense. if anyone has any info on the area i would appreciate it,hoping to get out to whitefish bay. am sending info to those who wanted it. thanks!!

Believe it or not ... watched Winnipeg weather on the 6 o'clock news this evening and they're saying that unseasonable temps will be returning and to expect 42 F by New Years Day!!!!!!
