I'm getting really sick of this weather right now! I need to go fishing,just picked up the new boat and i can't use it yet. WHEN IS IT GOING TO START?? What a big different from last year.
Due to global warming, the United Nations have declaired that spring and summer have been canceled for an indeterminite time until the US stops eating cheeseburgers that emit flouralcarbons and we ban all air conditioning units. Volcanos are also restricted until further notice.

I agree! I also have a new ride, and would REALLY like to hear that Merc fire up!
I was going to give the river a try this weekend, but it just didn't warm up quite enough this week.... But I VOW to next week.
I've got a plan. I've found a landing on a stretch of river that has pretty much cleaned out already. The only problem (small details heh) is the shore ice and the landing. The landing hasn't been plowed all winter, nor the road to it... But I'm going to fix that. I'm going to take the plow truck from work and break a trail to the landing.
As for the shore ice, I'm pretty lucky, its only about 8' out from shore... A little de-icer to give it a little head start, and I think mother nature will do the rest for me.
If you hear of some crazy man in western Wisconsin standing in water up to his waste with a pick axe in his hand.... You heard it here first.

man oh man how much walleye gear Icould of bought but gave it to our natural gas supplier.Guess it the joy of living in the Chicago area.Think spring.Have a great fishing season!!!!!!!!!
