What is everybody's prediction for this lake this year, with the lower water levels?

Fishing should be fantastic, but launching a boat could be a challenge.

I believe the fishing will be as good as ever. The two problems that are going to exist are finding a suitable launching area for the boat and a lot of people are going to damage their motors by not remembering that the lake is lower than it was last fall and they are going to hit those submerged objects they were going over last fall. I expect some very good fishing.

EXCELLENT year class of 5 year old fish in the system.
In reference to low water, I deliver mail to a prop repair shop and I will visit with the owner at least once a week and will always ask him the question: Lake or river?? when he is repairing a damaged prop or skeg.
Last year by far there was more damage coming into his shop from Lake Sakakawea than from the missouri river and we are 60 miles from the lake. Fishing of course is a lot better on Sakakawea vs the river too however.
Get a map, use your head, play it safe and enjoy a great fishery.
