I have seen knew WASS GPS's in some of the new catalogs, does anyone know any thing about these.

The latest information can be found on the raytheon site Raymarine.com. he system was invented by Raytheon for the FAA to use for better appraoch landings for planes. it's accurate to better than 6 feet all the time. it's better and cheaper than differential GPS and more than five times better than regular GPS. Raytheon has the jump by far on the technology and my understanding is you can buy one of their sensors and use it with other equipment through a NMEA connection. Check it out

Raymarine has also stated that within a year it will be accurate to within 3 ft. So as always the technolgy will stay ahead of our wallets.:)
