Just bought a Yo-Zuri 3D-Fingerling. Only bought one to try out.... geez, at $10.99 I better not lose this baby before it catches some fish. (Note to self:remember to remove price sticker before husband sees) I really liked the idea of the steel balls inside for the noise and I can't think of a suspending jerkbait that has that so I bit. (Hey, I'm being more conservative than last year... When winter boredom set in then, I bought a boat.)
Anyway, anyone given these thingies a whirl? :-)

Ness;
Check out the price of the Megabass lures in the Cabela's tackle shop catalogue. $35.00 WOW!!HOOOWEEEEE!!! Losing a few of those would break an individual up in business. Be sure to let us know how it works out. OBTW, do you use a lure retriever?
Thanks.

LOL about hiding the price tag, been there and done that. As I was sorting through my tackle last week (for the umpteenth time, dang, I wish spring would get here), I found a "still in the package" Bomber Long A that I had bought from a clearance bin during a previous winter's cabin fever. When I looked more closely, I noticed that: a) it was a suspending model, and b) you could see the steel shot inside through the transparent part of the lures belly.

Haven't tried it out yet, but I did get pretty excited about using it. Then again, I'm getting excited about using *anything*. Did I say that I wished spring would get here?

Hey Ness, I think that pricey lure already caught its intended fish. He, he, he, couldn't resist posting this before someone else did.

I've been reading the Muskie Board some of late. Ness, compared to what those guys pay for a big hunk of wood your quite restrained :). See, just rationalize...

Ness, yes they do work, but not 2 or 3 times as good as the other lures. also as one other post said, it still is a low end price for what i pay for some of my musky lures, lol. but i do keep a lure retriever handy when musky fishin too.i dont take to losing a 20 or 30 dollar lure, and so far i havent lost but one of the expensive ones. but all kidding aside the yo-zuri is a good lure, but also a very pricey lure. when we tried them they worked, but not any better than any other suspending bait, either trolling, or casting. good luck and good fishin.

Ouch is right, I just bought some pearl white Rapala Shad Raps at Reeds. Paid $9.95 each for these, that hurts.
Take care, T

I do try to stay on the reasonable side of lures. My bassin buddy swears by a very expensive version of the Pop-R. I think you call it a Reko...(Spelling is probably wrong :-)) Anyway, these babies are in the thirtyish range. He says they plunk instead of pop like a Pop-R. He does seem to really get the bass with these but when he loses one.... well, you can imagine. I am
trying very hard to resist the urge to buy them. Maybe I should get just one to see???????

Tough Guy say Ness go buy whatever lure you want. Life too short to hold back desires for fishing. Tough Guy say fish much, buy much tackle, be happy. No take green paper to great fisherman in sky, only latest greatest lures, he like to fish too!

Company called splash-it makes a pop-r like the Rico. Works just as good for half the price. (that's still lots of cash for a plug) I believe they have a website.
