Walleye Central is proud and excited to announce that
Bob "Kaz" Kaczkowski has joined our staff as Editorial
Director. His main focus will be the editing of the Walleye
Central Magazine.

Most of you know Kaz as the guy who started professional
walleye fishing and, along with his wife Bev, ran the
Masters Walleye Circuit for 15 years. To quote
professional walleye angler and President of Lindy
Little Joe Tackle Co., Ted Takasaki, "I and everyone
else involved in the walleye game, owe a dept of
gratitude to Kaz for his contributions to the sport. We
wouldn't be where we are today without him."

Kaz brings nearly 40 years of fishing and marine
industry experience and knowledge to Walleye Central.
Those years include; guiding, pro-fishing, outdoor
writing, seminars, promotions, marine manufacturer
consultant, and the introduction of the first
professional fishing conservation program of its kind,
the Masters Walleye Circuit Conservation Fund.

I met Kaz several years ago at a MWC tournament and we
became fast friends. He's a pleasure to be around...a
real "keeper"!

This is a good day in the life and future of Walleye Central.

LAST EDITED ON Mar-11-01 AT 10:33PM (CST)[p]Ahhh, Kaz.....

What can I say? I have known Kaz since I was a wet behind the ears wanna be fishing personality, at the ripe old age of 16.

I have much to thank Kaz for and much I owe to him. Kaz helped me get started as a writer, a tournament angler and a seminar speaker. Kaz even coined my handle.(long story....)

Obviously I am glad to be able to say he is on board with us, and I know the end result will only be a better deal for you, our friends that come and visit with us at Walleye Central.

A more fair, even handed, hard working, loyal and consistent person would be hard to find.

Welcome aboard!!!..............R

We've all missed Kaz at the tournaments. Maybe he can get involved with the onsite tournament updates (WC) through the web. How's the southern walleye circuit development coming along Kaz? Maybe something to start (circuit dates) after the northern states start cooling off in September/October. I'm sure a lot of guys up here wouldn't mind taking the trip south to fish a new team circuit later in the year when it's still warm south.
