I am planning on a trip to Lac Seul in June. I have not been there before but have heard some good things. Has anyone fished there recently enough to give me a report? Also, are there any recommedations for a good resort?

Thanks
Swede

Fished Lac Seul for last 3 years, superb!! Don't know when in June you plan to go, but probably need to hustle to find reservations. Go to www.ontariossunsetcountry.ca for a listing of resorts and phone #'s. I stay at Lac Seul's Evergreen Lodge and Lac Seul's Golden Eagle, both are very close to Ear Falls.

I have fished the West end of Lac Seul for the last 25 years. The early you can get there, the better the fishing. I can not argue with the previous reply, but I have always stayed at Goldpines. They run a great camp. 1-800-977-0041

Have been fishing Lac Seul for the last seven or eight years. I alway go out of Anderson's Lodge in Sioux Lookout. They have four outpost camps. All of their camp are on the northeastern area of the lake. Their number is:1-800-465-1098. They also have an excellent lodge accomodations for fishing out of the lodge.

I can't speak for the western portion of Lac Seul, but where we always fish, around Chamberlain Narrows, the fishing is excellent.

Best get on the ball and call somewhere as they book early in the year.

Good luck...eyesnatcher
