I had been thinking about barbless trebles for the good of the fish. That "how to remove a hook from yourself" post got me thinking that it might be good for me too. Who makes a good one, and where can I get them? Thanks.
Until you need to replace the hooks just pinch the barbs down or file them off. No real need to replace unless they need to be.
Keep your rods bent !!

Thanks - I thought of that, but I'm dealing with some stone age hooks that aren't made with the best of metal.

When you do replace them look to a wide gap deep throat hook with a slight inward curve. Triple grip is a good choice on the rear of a crank barbless or not as the throat of the hook is better suited to a barbless situation.
Just remember to never let off the pressure on a barbless rig as that is the best time for them to shake it loose.
Longer e-glass or composit blend rods with med/Hvy actions will help keep the pressure on too. I troll a lot of barbless cranks and the rod makes a big difference in maintaining the proper pressure.
Yup and they hurt much less on the way out after ya plant one in a finger too.
