The National Marine Safety Board recently divulged a highly secret plan they had funded with the US boat makers for the past five years. The NMSB covertly funded a project whereby the boat makers were installing black boxes in all classes of recreational boats in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the accident. Boats were divided into several classes and subclasses, based on the most common usage of a particular model, like pulling skiers, racing, fishing, etc.
They were surprised to find in 44 of the 45 classes/subclasses the last words of boaters in 61.2% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, S-H-I-T!"
Only the subclass "Fishing (Bass)" was different, where 89.3% of the final words were, "Hey Y'all, watch this!"

"I long for the dear old lakeshore, where I dreamed my youth away;
for a dreamer lives forever, and a toiler dies in a day.
From the sleepless thoughts endeavor, I would go where the children play;
For a dreamer lives forever, And a thinker dies in a day."
