We be headin' up the Clova Road come July. Has anyone takin' that trip yet this season? How are the bridges? What condition is the road in? How's the walleye and pike fishin' been in the park? Thanks in advance for any info.

Say hi to Russell. We'll be at O'Sullivan the first week of July. I'm the guy on the plaque for 2000 with the biggest catch and release pike (24 lbs). We'll be looking forward to your report. Here's hoping you catch a big one. Good luck.

wall-nut,

sounds great. i'm the first entry on the plaque for a 31 lb laker caught and released in 1997, and my nephew, eric wise is also on the plaque in 1998! got to teach em when they're young. hope to get another entry on the plaque this year! heading to a buddies house now for our last organizational meeting/boat prep. go sixers!!

Just drove out it yesterday and it was OK...We averaged 35 MPH. Road was being graded and was in better shape then when we went in last saturday...

Thanks for the report. How was the fishing? The black flies?

Considering the weather and our first time at the lodge, we did OK..Had 2 inches of snow fall on tuesday night...Cold weather and wind, and that kept the black flys away..Even first two nights there, with stable weather, and bugs were no problem...E-mail me for the fishing report...

dean, were you at o'sullivan lodge? 2 inches of snow sounds better to me than clear skies and 90 degrees. if you were at o'sullivan how did you folks do with the walleye or were you up for pike and lake trout? thx for any response.
