View Full Version : What are posting times relative to???
Have long wondered just what the posting times are relative to. Are they local time of the posting person, are they normalized in some way as the time received at server. Or...?
Just curious. It may explain some of the posts/replies sequences as well as maybe identify some insomniacs.

With odd shifts so common, time of day is no indication of insomnia.

I believe it is Central Standard Time (CST). Not a normalizing time like Zulu. (As if that is NORMAL!)

You have that exactly correct. I did not mean to isolate/antgonize anyone.
Have worked plenty of odd shifts or 2x hour days and still prefer working 0:00 dark hundred and having late in day to myself and family. I realize not everyone can do this.
If CST is the time (based on prior posts) then I guess the server is in Eden prarie?, Not that this makes any difference.
Lets go fishing.
