Sue, I bought a used boat that has a Guest 2617. I can't find any information on this model. It appears to have 3 banks, but I'm not sure of amps. Is this a good unit? It's obviously been discontinued or has had a model number change. Any help you can give me would be great.

You are correct, the 2617 charger is a three bank 15 amp charger with 5 amps to each battery. This charger has been discontinued in favor of the waterproof chargers, but there are still many out there. I can send you an owners manual to you if you would call me toll free at Guest at 1-888-483-7865 extension 135. Please note that I will be on vacation from 3/19 to 3/28.
