springs almost here

I seen the first robin here today,the snow is starting to melt and the river are starting to flow,maybe we can be on the lakes by april first.hang in there!

Less than 2 weeks ago I must have seen 1000 geese headed north, was all set to pull the rig out of the garage. 2 days later we got hammered with our biggest of the winter dumping 16" of snow. My wife saw robins today and sure enough Weather Channel is forcasting another 4"+ tomorrow.:'(

I had a old fishery Biologist that told me ( forgive me
for the reference ) The Bass Spawn travels north at a
rate of 20 miles a day out of Texas. At that rate here
comes spring. don’t burst the bubble this winter has
been too long. I also saw the first Robin of the year
yesterday. I also have tulips in the yard even though
there plastic, could stand it I had to put them out.
Think spring.
