Two men riding snowmobiles went through the ice near Green Island late Wednesday evening. As fisherman what things can we do in our local arera to help in search efforts. Do any of you belong to clubs that help rescue units in your area and if so what? As fisherman what help could we be if this was some of our own? I guess I am thing of things like GPS, fish locators, underwater camers, maybe small boats. Do you carry flares on board your boat? How about a water dye, buoys, to mark area where somebody went down. Maybe there are things we all should think of before we start are up coming boating sasons. Just some thoughts. Concered fisherman.
